Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated School Aide/Paraprofessional to provide one-on-one support to a preschool-aged student in a regular education preschool classroom and daycare setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and possess working knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) to support the student's communication and educational needs.

Responsibilities

  Provide individualized support to a preschool student throughout the school day

  Assist with communication using ASL

  Support academic, behavioral, social, and developmental goals

  Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff

Qualifications

  Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings

  Knowledge and practical use of American Sign Language (ASL) required

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families

  Experience supporting students with special needs preferred
