Scheduling ManagerMillerbernd Manufacturing is hiring a Scheduling Manager for our Circular Products (CP) Business Unit. The Scheduling Manager provides strategic direction for production planning, capacity utilization, and order fulfillment performance across the organization while directly overseeing our Scheduling Supervisors and providing leadership across the scheduling team.This Scheduling Manager will have accountabilities in both Winsted and Sauk Rapids but will be primarily based in Sauk Rapids.Job Title: Scheduling Manager Location: onsite in Sauk Rapids, MN Salary Range: $107,000 – $130,000/year (Exempt) (In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.) Shift Schedule : 1st shift Monday – Friday Business Hours Shift Differential : 1st shift – N/AKey Roles and Responsibilities as a Scheduling Manager:Lead and develop Scheduling Supervisors and their teams through coaching, accountability, and performance managementDrive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance schedule attainment, inventory performance, and on-time deliveryOversee management of PFEP (Plan for Every Part) and planning parameters within ERP systemsDevelop and maintain standardized scheduling processes across value streamsCollaborate between Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations to accomplish business unit targetsAs a Scheduling Manager, you will:Provide leadership and direction to Scheduling Supervisors and their teamsEstablish scheduling policies, procedures, and performance expectationsLead the Production Control process to achieve on-time delivery and customer service objectivesDirect root cause investigations related to schedule disruptions, inventory shortages, and delivery performance issuesPartner with Operations leadership to balance capacity and drive workforce productivity.Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to align material planning strategies with production requirementsLead ERP scheduling optimization initiatives and continuous improvement projectsDevelop standard work, training programs, and best practices for scheduling personnelServe as the organizational subject matter expert for scheduling processes and ERP planning functionalitySupport annual operating plans, financial forecasts, and strategic growth initiatives through capacity and production analysisRole Qualifications as a Scheduling Manager:Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred7+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or operations management3+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors, planners, schedulers, or cross-functional teams preferredStrong leadership, coaching, and team development skillsExpertise in manufacturing planning, scheduling, and capacity managementProficiency with ERP/MRP systems and scheduling methodologiesAdvanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skillsStrong understanding of financial targets, inventory management, and operational KPIsExperience leading cross-functional improvement initiativesDevelop, coach, and retain high-performing scheduling teams through effective leadership of Scheduling SupervisorsProven ability to influence decisions across multiple organizational levelsRoot cause analysis, critical thinking, and strategic decision-making abilitiesWork Environment (office):While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit/stand; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk short distances.
