Non-exempt role; Reports to the Supervisor; Performs a variety of routine duties within established policies.Schedules vary and are subject to change; must be able to work 40-50 hours plusBackground, health/drug screen requiredMust be able to pass craft test and safety council courses in EnglishGeneral Job Description:Assembles positions and dismantles scaffolding to job specifications.Functional Requirements:Inspects surface for holes, objects and levelness; assembles scaffold consisting of guardrails, mid-rails, braces, planks, toe boards, screens and wheels; positions scaffold by rolling it into place; secures scaffold to permanent structure by tying.Qualification Standards:* (4) years of experience in specified skill (depending on mechanic level)* Written pre-employment qualification test* Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation* Hazard Communication orientation/test* Turner Industries Group, LLC indoctrination* OSHA approved corrective eyewear (Z87)* Job site orientation* Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)* Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)* Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the work placeTurner Industries is an equal employment opportunity employer.
