Coordinating and closing SBA loans, the remote Closing Officer will ensure compliance with SBA requirements and internal policies while managing communication with borrowers, brokers, and underwriters throughout the closing process. Key responsibilities Coordinate SBA loan closings from credit approval through funding, preparing and reviewing all necessary documentation Ensure compliance with SBA SOPs and validate borrower and guarantor requirements for each loan Manage a pipeline of loan closings, prioritizing tasks and facilitating communication among all parties involved Required qualifications 3+ years of SBA Closing experience (7(a) required; 504 preferred) Working knowledge of SBA SOPs and closing procedures Understanding of business financials and legal documentation Ability to manage multiple closings in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan origination/document management systems
