Cuts raw bar stock to fulfill work-order and/or purchase order requirements, and other instructions.Receive and assign an identification number (receiver number) and logs all bar stock into the computer system.Identification and categorizes raw material by type for the proper location.Retention and verify all material certification for bar inventory.Reconciles variances of bar stock inventory.Set-up and operate all jobs on the vertical band saw to process drawing requirements.
Complete all applicable documentation for the current operation (i.e. Shop traveler sign off and first pc, inspection record sheet, and/or AQL and NCMR)Performs storekeeper duties in stockroom for receiving, issuing, kitting inventory for work orders, purchase orders and sales orders, moves same to locations/work centers/shipping as required.Performs inventory transactions in computer system (receipts, issues, location transfers).Assists in performing Cycle Count.Operate the forklift for moving heavy loads.Complies with work rules including those pertaining to safety, health, quality system, and Viant Quality Management System.Working ConditionsWorking with cutting & machining fluids, solvents, lubricants and other hazardous chemicals using appropriate safety controlsAble to lift over 50 poundsModerate to significant amounts of bending, lifting, twisting and sitting.Moderate to significant periods of standing and walking.
