Saw OperatorCalera, ALOverviewOur client is seeking an experienced Saw Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating industrial saws and cutting metal materials in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.Responsibilities:Operate industrial saws to accurately cut metal materials according to specifications.Set up and safely operate various types of saws and metal shearing equipment.Inspect materials and finished cuts to ensure accuracy and quality.Read and follow work orders, measurements, and production specifications.Properly handle and position metal materials for cutting.Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.When saw work is not available, assist in other areas of the shop as needed, including operating bending machines, cut-thread machines, and other production equipment.Perform additional production duties as assigned.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience operating industrial saws is preferred.
Experience operating different types of saws and/or metal shearing machines.
Experience cutting and working with metal materials.
Experience with industrial saw brands such as DoALL, Behringer, or similar equipment is a plus. Ability to read measurements and follow production specifications. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Willingness to cross-train and assist in other areas of the shop when needed.
