This role focuses on technical and functional upgrades, not new SAP implementations.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage end-to-end SAP upgrade projects, including preparation, execution, testing, and cutoverCoordinate cross-functional teams (Basis, Functional, ABAP, Security, Testing) across onshore/offshore modelsManage upgrade timelines, risks, dependencies, and change freezesDrive stakeholder communication, status reporting, and executive-level updatesEnsure adherence to SAP best practices, release management, and validation requirementsRequired Experience5+ years of SAP project management experience, with direct ownership of SAP upgradesStrong understanding of SAP upgrade cycles (S/4HANA, ECC, SPS/FPS, technical upgrades)Experience working with distributed teams in nearshore/offshore (LATAM) delivery modelsSolid background in cutover planning, testing coordination, and defect managementPMP or equivalent certification preferred; SAP experience requiredNice to HaveExperience in regulated environments (e.g., life sciences, SOX, GxP)Familiarity with SAP AMS or post-upgrade support transitions
