SAP Procurement Architect (16873)

**Federal Project - Applicant must be a United States Citizen with Interim, Secret Clearance**

Baer is looking for SAP Procurement Architect for a 4+ month Federal remote project.

Title: SAP Procurement Architect

Location: Remote (Must be based in US)

Duration: 4 months

Rate: All-Inclusive

Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Lead discussions with clients' IT and business executives to develop strategies and solutions for procurement challenges.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to define clear requirements that lead to successful business outcomes.
• Analyze and address the business and IT needs in the Procurement area, especially in the context of Public Sector specifics.
• Develop strategic roadmaps for the Procurement area, guiding the evolution of business solution portfolios from current to future state.
• Identify areas for improvement in Procurement processes, particularly for public sector needs.
• Influence and guide clients through transition states, ensuring business outcomes are achieved using SAP solutions.
• Focus on the Source to Settle process, particularly complex long-term contracts in the Federal and DoD sectors, including contract flow-downs, disclosure management, and multi-year contract management.
• Develop strategic roadmaps for Source to Settle processes to support clients’ sustainability goals and values.
• Recommend improvements in sourcing events, e-tendering, spend transparency, category management, supplier collaboration, and payables automation.
• Build on SAP’s solution value to influence key business outcomes in the procurement domain.

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of leading engagements at the executive level.
• Proven expertise in Public Sector Procurement processes and deep knowledge of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and cloud solutions for procurement in the public sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain strategies and technical concepts in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience estimating the financial impact of different solution architecture alternatives.
• 8+ years of experience with SAP solutions.
• 10+ years of consulting experience.
• 12+ years of experience in solution and/or architecture design (business & IT).
• MBA is preferred.
