Role: SAP PMMO (Project Management & Manufacturing Operations) Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP PMMO (Project Management & Manufacturing Operations) Consultant to support a classified, greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation for Edison Works, a business unit specializing in advanced propulsion and defense systems. This is a strategic, long‑term engagement requiring deep functional expertise in SAP Project Systems (PS), Plant Maintenance (PM), and Production Planning/Manufacturing Execution (PP/ME), within a highly regulated and defense‑classified environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support end‑to‑end SAP PMMO workstream activities across Blueprinting, Realization, Testing, and Cutover phases of the greenfield S/4HANA implementation
• Design and configure SAP PS (Project Systems) to support program/project cost tracking, WBS structures, network scheduling, and milestone‑based billing aligned with defense program requirements
• Collaborate with Plant Maintenance (PM) and Production Planning (PP) teams to ensure integrated process design for complex aerospace manufacturing operations
• Work closely with business stakeholders to conduct requirement‑gathering workshops, document business process designs (BPDs), and validate functional specs
• Support MES/SCADA integration design in coordination with technical architects, aligning shop floor execution with SAP S/4HANA
• Ensure all deliverables and documentation comply with classified program protocols and security handling requirements
• Coordinate with program managers and cross‑functional SAP workstream leads (Finance, Procurement, QM, SCM) to maintain process coherence across the program
• Actively participate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and cutover planning activities
• Provide knowledge transfer and support change management activities for business users

Required Qualifications

• US Citizenship is mandatory – no exceptions
• Active DoD Security Clearance Mandatory (Secret minimum; Top Secret preferred)
• Minimum 8+ years of SAP functional experience with at least 3 full‑lifecycle S/4HANA implementations
• Deep expertise in SAP Project Systems (PS) including WBS, Networks, Milestones, Resource‑Related Billing, and Program Cost Management
• Strong working knowledge of SAP PP/PM modules in discrete or complex manufacturing environments
• Prior experience in Aerospace & Defense (A&D) or other regulated/classified manufacturing industries strongly preferred
• Familiarity with ITAR/EAR compliance requirements in an SAP context is a plus
• Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills; ability to work directly with senior client stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Defense & Security industry solution or A&D best practices
• Exposure to MES integration (SAP ME/MII or third‑party) in a manufacturing execution context
• Familiarity with aerospace or engine manufacturing operational environments
• SAP Certification in relevant modules (PS, PP, PM)
• Experience delivering under CMMI, DCAA, or FAR/DFARS compliance frameworks
