SAP Oil Consultant

Role overview

We are looking for a specialized SAP Oil Consultant to join a consulting engagement supporting a client in the Oil sector. This role requires genuine, hands‑on expertise in Oil‑specific SAP industry modules, not general SAP module experience gained at an oil company.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Hands‑on design, configuration, and implementation of Oil‑specific SAP modules (PRA – Production Revenue Accounting, JVA – Joint Venture Accounting, HPM – Hydrocarbon Product Management, Retail Fuel Network, or IS‑Oil more broadly)
• Analyzing client business requirements specific to upstream/downstream Oil operations (e.g. joint venture accounting, revenue accounting, fuel retail) and translating them into SAP Oil‑specific solutions
• Participating in testing, go‑live, and post‑implementation support activities for Oil‑specific functionality
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams and client representatives to ensure successful project delivery
• Preparing functional documentation and supporting knowledge transfer on Oil‑specific processes

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• Hands‑on configuration/implementation experience with at least one Oil‑specific SAP module: PRA, JVA, HPM, Retail Fuel Network, or IS‑Oil
• SAP S/4HANA experience preferred
• Good understanding of end‑to‑end implementation lifecycle (AS-IS/TO-BE, configuration, testing, deployment)
• Strong English communication skills
