SAP NS2 Functional Application ArchitectSAP NS2 is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to fill the role of a functional application architect in Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidate works well with a team and has the desire and aptitude to learn new software, cloud applications and information technology concepts. This role is part of a broader team implementing and maintaining SAP enterprise software solutions.
As a functional consultant you will work closely with customer end users and developers to translate current processes into requirements for configuration and development of new functionality.Key Responsibilities:Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for new software applicationsCollaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performanceServe as a liaison between technical team and the stakeholdersDesigning and developing new functions or improving existing onesGather and analyze requirements to design or enhance new processes to improve user experienceInterface with senior leadership for guidance on information strategy, vision, and prioritiesCreate documentation such as requirements specifications, test scripts, user guides, and help filesPerform quality assurance testing of new software releases to ensure that they meet stated requirementsProvide technical support to end users and helping them troubleshoot issues with software applicationsPreferred Qualifications:2-5 years working as part of a team as a consultant; to Intel customers a plusPrior experience with enterprise software or cloud applications, e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, AWS, GoogleDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and writtenEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business, or Engineering (e.g., Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems), or a related field, or equivalent work experienceCompensation Range Transparency: SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted annual combined range for this position is USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc.
