SAP Lead ME / MII – Oscar – Jersey Village, TX

My client is investing in SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution) and SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence) to streamline operations and provide real-time shop floor visibility. The person in this position is required to work with cross functional teams on FICO, Material Management, Variant Configuration, Order to Cash and PTM. This SAP Lead ME/MII works on an implementation within the automotive industry within a high-volume supply chain operation. The person in this position will proactively work with both technical and business teams to resolve and reduce identified gaps and changes. This position will lead the technical architecture, design and support for the SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution) and MII module implemented as part of a large transformation project. This Lead serves as the functional and technical SAP Manufacturing expert and will work with the manufacturing and supply chain teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP MII and SAP ME
• Deep understanding of manufacturing operations , supply chain, and shop floor systems
• Strong experience integrating with external systems (e.g., PLCs, OPC, SQL, web services)
• Proven ability to work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams
• Experience building and configuring real‑time dashboards, KPIs, and production insights
• Understanding of MES concepts and how ME fits into the digital thread
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in fast‑paced environments
