Overview
Seeking a hands-on SAP IS-U Billing Consultant to support an upcoming large-scale utility transformation from design through deployment and post-go-live support. This role requires strong experience in billing configuration, rate design, and working directly with business stakeholders.
Travel
- 2 weeks/month (Tue–Thu) for first 8 months
- Then ~1 week/month through April 2027
Responsibilities
- Lead IS-U Billing design and configuration
- Translate tariffs into billing schemas, operands, and rate steps
- Support TOU, demand, and multi-register billing
- Facilitate workshops, Fit/Gap, and stakeholder discussions
- Create Functional Design Documents
- Support FI-CA integration, testing (SIT/UAT), and deployment
- Assist with post-go-live and regulatory updates
Key Skills
- Billing schema, price keys, variant programs
- TOU & demand billing, proration, multi-register setup
- BAdIs and FI-CA integration (basic understanding)
Experience Required
- 6+ years SAP IS-U Billing (BI)
- Full lifecycle project experience (design to go-live)
- Strong utility billing and rate design knowledge
- Experience with electric and/or gas utilities preferred
