Hybrid ScheduleIn office two Fridays a month Every processing day Every Tuesday and one Thursday a month Overall two days remote and three days in office.Manager is requiring candidate's have knowledge of reciprocities, understand living and working in different jurisdictions, be familiar with how to locate specific state / local tax laws etc.What Would Stand Out To A ManagerA person would stand out if they have ADP / Vantage experience, understand case management for employee issues and corresponding within the platform. The team needs an independent thinker and someone who is not afraid to try things or offer suggestions. Someone with payroll experience, someone who understands pretax items and the impact on wages, who can think through payroll adjustments, someone with great communication skills who can communicate with employees.

Responsible for all aspects of payroll processing and compliance including ability to answer employee inquiries with respect to Client HR, payroll & time policies and practices in a complex large employer multi-state environment.Perform quality review of payroll Specialist & Sr Specialist workAdminister Pay Cycle process (Verify, Calculate & Preview)Garnishment order administrationInterpret internal and external payroll and time & labor laws, policies, and practices to ensure payroll complianceAnswer incoming callsComplete & review payroll calculations for retroactive payroll adjustments, leaves, terminations and other exception processingAdminister pay cycle batch data input to payroll system for miscellaneous payments and other changes including deduction and tax withholdingAudit data interfaced from HR system into the payroll system including salary and tax statusCheck, audit, and maintain payroll & timekeeping records in conformance with established standards.Complete payroll cycle audit and reconciliation to ensure accurate payroll processWhat We Are Looking ForRequired Qualifications:HS diploma or equivalent coupled with 5 plus years’ experience in the payroll professionMulti-state large employer experienceGarnishment processingExtensive payroll & time system knowledgeMulti-state Tax CalculationShort Term Disability Calculation including offsetsOverpayment Calculation and RecoverySalary ProrationsProficient in MS Office applications specifically excelPhysical in-office presenceFlexible work schedule to accommodate employees on the West CoastAbility to thrive in a fast-paced complex deadline-oriented environmentPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degreeCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) and/or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)ADP Vantage Payroll & Vantage Time Platform experienceRequired Skills: servicenow, SAPBasic Qualification:Additional Skills: HRIS AdministratorThis is a high PRIORITY requisition.
