SAP GL & Consolidation Lead

GL & Consolidation - ResourceWith 10+ years of experience and good interpersonal skills. The ideal resource would have strong business analysis experience leading design workshop sessions in working on the following:Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closingChart of accounts harmonizationQuarterly balance sheet and P & L fluctuation analysisMonthly expense variance analysisConsolidation, inter-company transactions and reconciliations including foreign currency accountingEnsure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS and compliance to internal policiesManage fixed assetsBalance sheet accounts reconciliationsProperty, sales and use tax and franchise tax returnsInterface with management in various departments, including engineering, sales operations, IT and legalAbility to handle workshop and blueprint sessionsWorksite location will primarily be Batesville (Indiana) and some workshops would be held at Chicago. Initial duration is 9 weeks for the workshop, followed by a long-term implementation phase.

Initially 9 weeks at $110/hour, plus expenses.
