Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedSAP FM/GM Consultant to join our SAP team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise inSAP Funds Management (FM) andSAP Grants Management (GM) , with experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Public Sector Management solutions. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design solutions, configure the system, and provide post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FM/GM functional solutions.

Configure and customize SAP Funds Management and Grants Management modules based on business needs.

Design and maintain budgeting, fund control, grant lifecycle, and financial reporting processes.

Integrate SAP FM/GM with other SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, PS, SD, and Project Systems.

Conduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution demonstrations with business users.

Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate with technical teams.

Support data migration, testing (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT), and deployment activities.

Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.

Develop and maintain functional documentation, configuration documents, and user manuals.

Deliver end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and public sector financial regulations where applicable.

Participate in SAP upgrades, enhancement packs, and S/4HANA transformation projects.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Funds Management (FM) and Grants Management (GM).

Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation project.

Strong understanding of budgeting, fund accounting, grant management, and financial processes.

Experience configuring:

Budget Control System (BCS)

Budget Availability Control (AVC)

Experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Sector Management is preferred.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with SAP Fiori applications.

Knowledge of SAP BTP and SAP Analytics Cloud is an advantage.

Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.

Understanding of public sector accounting standards and compliance requirements.

Experience working in global implementation or support environments.

SAP certification in Public Sector Management or SAP Financials is a plus.
