Role: SAP Cloud ERP Finance Configuration Lead
Location: Chicago, IL Remote (Only EST and CST time zone)
Duration: 12 Months
Role Summary: Lead the configuration, stabilization, and continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Finance, ensuring accurate financial processes, revenue recognition, compliance, and system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead configuration across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Management Accounting.
- Own Event-Based Revenue Recognition for project-based services.
- Support cash management, banking, payments, and treasury processes.
- Troubleshoot finance postings, integrations, data issues, and period-end close.
- Manage testing, releases, documentation, and production support.
- Ensure clean-core compliance and fit-to-standard configuration.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, Data, Integration, and implementation teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field.
- 8+ years of SAP Finance experience with hands-on configuration leadership.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud and post-go-live support.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, controlling, revenue recognition, and integrations.
Preferred: SAP certification, SAP Activate, SAP Cloud ALM, and professional services industry experience.
