Salary: $145,000 - 160,000 per year
Requirements:- We require proven experience taking over a production system built by someone else, with the ability to quickly uncover undocumented logic and ask the right questions while handover knowledge is still available.
- We require proven development experience in the SAP ecosystem, ideally with SAP Business One; strong experience building against another SAP product or a comparable ERP is also valued.
- We look for hands-on development knowledge rather than certification or configuration-only background.
- We prefer direct experience with the DI API, Service Layer, user-defined tables and fields, SAP B1 on HANA, stored procedures, transaction notifications, Crystal Reports, or Boyum B1UP.
- We want familiarity with Node.js, especially async control flow, concurrency behavior, long-running processes, session and token lifecycle, error handling, and retry logic.
- We expect confidence working with SQL against live production systems.
- We value experience with Windows Server, including COM and .NET interop, services, scheduled jobs, printers, and spoolers.
- We look for integration experience with REST APIs, OAuth refresh, idempotency, and reconciliation.
- Pharmaceutical or medical distribution experience is a plus, especially with GPO contracts, chargebacks, NDC, and contract pricing.
- Knowledge of DSCSA, including serialization, EPCIS, T3 documentation, and saleable returns, is preferred.
- Experience with EDI, particularly 845 and 856, is desirable.
- Carrier API integration experience, including label generation and printer routing, is a plus.
- Experience with a warehouse management system layered on SAP B1 is preferred.
- We value Git and code review as established habits rather than imposed processes.
- A bachelors degree is required.
- The role requires the ability to commute to Edison, NJ 08837.
- We build and maintain the automations that support our order-to-cash and fulfilment operations.
- We update pricing logic across contract, GPO, and customer-specific agreements where accuracy is critical.
- We extend order approval, hold, and payment-term rules as our sales model changes.
- We diagnose automations that fail overnight, determine what completed and what did not, and safely rerun the right work.
- We maintain and enhance Crystal Reports, pick lists, and document layouts.
- We trace unusual orders end to end across SAP, our automation layer, and carriers.
- We develop integrations between SAP and our customer portal, data warehouse, carriers, and trading partners.
- During the first year, we strengthen the estate with source control, proper scheduling, improved error handling, and tests for money- and stock-moving paths.
- We work directly with warehouse and operations teams to understand processes before automating them.
- We document what we build and help make the system easier to support and hand over.
- We participate in releases, especially during peak season and when issues require onsite support.
- We are expected to help onboard and hire future developers as the team grows.
