Sanitation Team Lead- 3rd shift

Zing Recruiting is partnered with a global manufacturer in the flavors industry and is seeking a 3rd Shift Sanitation Team Lead to join their team in the Bedford Park area.
Shift:
3rd shift: 10pm-630am
Monday through Friday.
Starting Pay: $27-$30 DOE
Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate daily sanitation activities for production equipment and facility areas.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and company safety standards.
• Operate and oversee sanitation equipment, including CIP systems, scrubbers, and drum washers.
• Conduct inspections to verify sanitation effectiveness and audit readiness.
• Train and support sanitation staff on procedures, chemical handling, PPE, and safety practices.
• Monitor sanitation supplies and coordinate inventory replenishment.
• Document and report safety, quality, and equipment concerns; assist with corrective actions.
• Support production by maintaining clean equipment, work areas, and materials handling operations.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred.
• Prior sanitation or cleaning operations experience required.
• Previous lead or team coordination experience preferred.
• Powered Industrial Truck experience preferred.
• In-house fork truck certification required..

Technical Skills

• SAP bar coding/scanning experience preferred.
• Basic PC and data entry skills.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation chemicals, cleaning procedures, and food safety standards.
• Ability to complete documentation accurately and communicate effectively across shifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs or 50 kg.
