Sanitation Technician

We are seeking a Sanitation Technician in Brooklyn on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for performing routine daily cleaning and sanitation of production equipment and production areas.

Sanitation Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 16.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 04:30pm to 01:00am)

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of production equipment and production areas.
• Follow safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
• Will also be responsible for operating a forklift or scissor lift

Dress Code:

• Work in a climate-controlled environment (~50°F); dressing in layers is recommended.
• No jewelry, including facial piercings, earrings, necklaces, and rings (except plain wedding band).
• No fake nails or nail polish.
• No false eyelashes or eyelash extensions.
• No leggings, shorts, capris, or tank tops.
• Closed-toed, non-slip, and comfortable shoes are required; footwear must be clean and free of holes.

Sanitation Qualifications:

• This position is physically demanding and requires frequent laying down, squatting, and bending.
• Experience in, or willingness to learn, sanitation procedures in the food processing industry.
• Must be available to work overtime as needed.
• Comfortable driving a forklift
• Must be able to comply with all dress code standards.
