Sanitation Associate I

Our client, a leading food distribution and production company, is seeking Sanitation Associate I team members to join their facility in Pompano Beach, FL. This is a production sanitation role focused on cleaning and sanitizing food processing equipment and work areas to uphold strict safety and quality standards. This is not a janitorial or general housekeeping position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize production rooms and food processing areas
• Wash and sanitize equipment such as tables, dicer machines, metal detectors, shelves, and small hand tools
• Clean and sanitize knives and other production equipment
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies including mops, brooms, sponges, and approved sanitation chemicals
• Follow established sanitation procedures and safety guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift
• Willingness and ability to work in a cold, refrigerated production environment (30°F to 40°F) for the duration of the shift
• Steel-toe boots required
• Reliable attendance and ability to work a 6-day work week

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food production sanitation or industrial cleaning
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards

About the Role:

This is a contract position with an estimated total of 2,952 hours. The schedule is Sunday through Friday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with Saturdays off. This role is based on-site at the facility located in Pompano Beach, FL, with no travel required. Compensation: Competitive rate.
