Painter/BlasterPainter/Blaster is responsible for the preparation of metal surfaces for painting and will also paint components, equipment, interiors, and exteriors of vessels. Two (2) years of marine blasting and painting or four (4) year of continuous Company experience preferred.Responsibilities include:Reading and interpreting paint specifications and manufacturer application instructions.Being well versed in spraying conventional, airless, or hand paint systems.Applying zinc, epoxy, enamel, or other types of surface coatings.Being familiar with Steel Structural Painting Chemical (SSPC) preparation.Troubleshooting blasting and painting equipment and reading wet or dry gauges.
