Work Arrangement:

Hybrid – 3 days onsite

Salary:

$138,000 – $172,500/year + Annual Bonus

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Income & Franchise Tax Manager to manage state income tax compliance and consulting activities for multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage state income and franchise tax compliance and consulting projects.
• Review and prepare state tax returns and related filings.
• Perform tax research and prepare technical memos and client communications.
• Assist clients with state tax audits.
• Manage multiple client engagements, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff.
• Support client relationships and business development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 6+ years of progressive State Income Tax / SALT experience
• Active California CPA license , OR active law license/JD, OR IPT certification
• Strong state income and franchise tax knowledge
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work 3 days per week onsite in Los Angeles
