Salesforce EngineerThis is a hybrid role for our Wakefield, MA office (In-office one day every other week, plus additional in-person trainings and workshops as needed).The purpose of your role:The Salesforce Engineer is part of the development team and is responsible for supporting, enhancing, integrating, and extending Sentinel's business applications, with a primary focus on the Salesforce platform and related custom systems. This role combines Salesforce platform expertise with strong software engineering capabilities across modern application development, integrations, and automation.The Salesforce Engineer conducts requirements analysis, documents technical specifications, designs and develops scalable solutions, writes and reviews code, debugs issues, and contributes to release processes. We strive to surround ourselves with team members who go above and beyond in all job facets and look for people who are willing to embrace change.What you need to have:Preferred qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience2–5 years of software engineering experience, including hands-on work with Salesforce technologiesExperience designing and building solutions on the Salesforce platformExperience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, Salesforce data model, security model, and integration capabilitiesExperience building and consuming REST APIs and working with JSON and XML data formatsExperience with source control and gearsetFamiliarity with SQL/SOQL and enterprise data integration conceptsSalesforce certifications are a plusSalary Range: $95,000-$105,000, depending on experienceAt Sentinel, compensation is calibrated to your geographic location to reflect local market conditions; the posted salary range may vary based on where you live.Nice to haves:Programming skills in one or more general-purpose languages, especially Node.js and PythonExperience with Azure, AWS, or similar cloud technologiesWhat you'll be part of:Joining our company means becoming part of something special.
