Salesforce Developer
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Location: Eden Prairie, Minnesota 55344 (Can be 100% remote)
Project: Working on applications to support call center user. Salesforce as frontend and Java as backend
Responsibilities:
- Salesforce developer needs to learn Java and vice versa for Java developer
- They have to do some SDET work as well. Automation testing
- Cloud AWS experience is a nice to have
- Open for remote work for strong candidates
Skills for Salesforce developer:
- Custom coding
- Plugin Play
Candidates will stand out if they meet this criteria: Java/springboot 3-6 years, willingness to flex and learn new skills like test automation, Salesforce and AWS
This is a contract to hire position. Please do not submit anyone not interested in an FTE role.
What project/projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment?
RIPTiDE is a rapid product delivery team. Our mission is to rapidly deliver high business value functionality to our advocates so that they can better serve our end members. On inception the team was also known as Advocate4Me however, as we now work on functionality that is broader than A4Me we go by the program name of RIPTiDE.
The candidate will be working on the Agile Scrum team - 4-5 software engineers, 2 software development engineer in test (SDET), 1 Scrum Master/systems analyst, 1 solutions architect, and 1 product owner
Primary responsibilities:
- Join a development team in delivery of RESTful APIs and UIs built with Angular and Adobe CQ5
- Own the build/deploy/release process and find ways to automate and improve our pipeline at every step
- Bring innovative ideas to help continuously improve including the design, build, deploy, test and runtime cloud ecosystems
- Participate in debugging and performance tuning in a high performance cloud platform
- A great attitude with the passion and persistence to solve complex problems
- Passionate, motivated, adaptable, team-oriented individual
Preferred qualifications:
- Healthcare industry experience
- Experience in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Knowledge and experience of Agile methodology
- Experience developing unit tests using tools such as Junit, NUnit, MSTest to verify your code quality
- Experience with RESTful web services
- Desire to continuously improve and evolve all aspects of the work environment
- Passion for automation and simplicity
What are the work hours? (ex. 9am-5pm, day/night shifts, rotating shifts, etc) Office hours vary slightly but are typically between 7am - 5pm.
Interview process:
- 30 mins initial discussion with manager
- 1 hrs. technical discussion with 3 developer teams
