Salesforce.com DeveloperThe Salesforce.com Developer will be contributing to a global implementation of Salesforce.com. This is a role that serves as a point of contact for administrative configuration actions: maintenance, configuration, reporting and training. Day to day this person will work on salesforce.com projects, enhancements, customization, support and maintenance.
The position will also include working with custom development for application integration, working closely with business users to develop requirements, and then configure and test the salesforce.com system to ensure the system meets the requirements. This role is critical to the ongoing SFDC and GLOW initiatives company-wide.Experience with Git (or any other Version Control System).Experience with CI/CD tools: Bitbucket (or Github or similar), Bamboo (or Jenkins or similar) and ANT.Experience deploying in Salesforce using ANT or SFDX. If not, experience using third party tools (Copado, AutoRABIT, Gearset, Flosum).Monitor our main builds (QA, Integration With All Tests, Integration With Subset of Tests) and be able to identify responsible to fix issues so they are resolved in a timely fashion.
If not responsible can be determined, candidate should be able to provide fix for obvious deployment issues that do not require extensive Salesforce dev skills.Coordinate with Salesforce support to resolve sandbox (not Production!) deployment issues.Salesforce seasoned developer to help resolve technical debt both in DevOps and Glow Architecture projects.Experience doing Code Reviews (not just to junior developers!).Document and advocate adoption of coding best practices.Experience working in an Agile methodology environment.As you can see, there is only 1 mandatory and 1 highly desirable skills. The others are desirable but not required. They can be learned/improved if we get the a good candidate with the right attitude to learn.It's important for candidates to know there is going to be a lot of code review to do and it's something that will be a daily task.Regarding the tasks assigned in DevOps project itself, these will be complex and technical in nature (no business oriented).
