Software Developer 2Location: Texas RemoteThe Candidate will be part of the CPA IT Treasury & Education team, creating and maintaining public and internal Salesforce applications.The Candidate will perform highly-advanced analytical and development work in the creation of CPA Salesforce applications, as well as provide technical expertise to the team with design discussions and peer reviews. The Candidate will assist in the design, implementation, deployment, and documentation of projects that leverage the Salesforce.com toolset. The Candidate will provide feedback and contribute expertise to improve applications and development processes.The Candidate will perform these tasks:Provide Salesforce analysis and development services.Take ownership of reported issues and complete assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner reporting progress to the Salesforce Manager.Analyze and maintain Salesforce user authentication methodology and security architecture.Design, code, and document links, content, and component application solutions.Document coding and configuration procedures.Work closely with business units, application teams, and infrastructure areas to identity, review and evaluate the solution requirements.Work with internal business users and clients in an Agile environment to evaluate business needs, analyze processes, and create system documentation that reflects the finished Salesforce application.Identify problems and propose innovative solutions.Communicate complex concepts clearly, accurately, and effectively both verbally and in writing.Participate in development planning and scheduling.Prepare charts, diagrams, and tables that depict the present and/or proposed systems in terms of costs, benefits derived, and processes accomplished.Provide functional and technical expertise for Salesforce applications.Services are expected to start 01/30/2023 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2023. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 1920 hours.
This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed. The primary work location(s) will be at 111 E. 17th Street LBJ Building Austin, Texas 78744.
Any and all travel, per diem, parking, and/or living expenses shall be at the Candidate's and/or Vendor's expense. Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts will provide pre-approved, written authorization for travel for any services to be performed away from the primary work location(s). Pre-approved travel expenses are limited to the rates and comply with the rules prescribed by the State of Texas for travel by its classified employees, including any requirement for original receipts. The Candidate(s) may be required to work outside the normal business hours on weekends, evenings and holidays, as requested.
Payment for work over 40 hours will be at the hourly rate quoted and must be coordinated and pre-approved through Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.
