Salesforce Business AnalystTitle: Salesforce Business AnalystPay Rate: 45-50/HRLocation: Raleigh, NC Hybrid schedule (3 days WFO - Mon, Tue & Th / 2 days WFH Wed, Fri) 8am - 5pm, Potential conversion to full time positionThe Systems Analyst serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are clearly understood, documented, and translated into effective system solutions. This role evaluates existing systems, integrations and processes, identifies opportunities for improvement, and supports the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise applications and integrations. The Systems Analyst plays a key role in driving operational efficiency, data quality, and user adoption across business and technology teams.ResponsibilitiesMajor Duties DescriptionBusiness & Requirements AnalysisSystem Design & Solution SupportProcess Improvement & OptimizationTesting & Implementation SupportStakeholder Communication & DocumentationSalesforce Development & Configuration SupportTechnical & Functional SkillsProficiency in Confluence and JiraAbility to perform Salesforce administrative / configuration tasksAbility to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutionsAbility to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholdersExperience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical resources across multiple regionsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to translate technical subject matter to non-technical audiencesExcellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Hands-on experience with Salesforce declarative tools (Flow Builder, Process Automation, Object Model design)Foundational knowledge of Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce development patternsFamiliarity with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration conceptsUnderstanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Git-based workflows) preferredKnowledge of Salesforce data model design, security model (profiles, permission sets), and sharing rulesAbility to debug using logs, debug tools, and basic monitoring techniquesMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)3–7 years of experience in a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar roleStrong experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and process analysisExperience working with enterprise systems (Salesforce CRM, ERP, marketing platforms, data platforms, or similar)Demonstrated experience working with system integrations and data flows, including:Upstream and downstream data ingestion and activation between systemsUnderstanding of data movement across CRM, marketing automation, data platforms, and analytics toolsAbility to document source-to-target mappings, data dependencies, and integration impactsExperience working in agile and/or hybrid delivery environments (e.g., Jira, user stories, backlogs)Familiarity with data models, integrations, and APIsExperience supporting global or cross-functional teamsKnowledge of compliance, data privacy, or regulated industries (preferred but not required)Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Marketing Automation, or Data PlatformsRelevant Salesforce CertificationsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsExposure to Salesforce development concepts (Apex, Flow, integrations) or prior experience in a junior developer capacityExperience contributing to Salesforce configuration or development in Agile delivery teamsPreferred Qualifications / CertificationsSalesforce Certified Business AnalystSalesforce Certified Platform FoundationsSalesforce Certified Platform AdministratorSalesforce Certified Platform App BuilderSalesforce Certified Platform Developer IExperience with Life Sciences IndustryTravel RequirementsUp toPhysical RequirementsThis position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions.
