Job Summary
A Salesforce (SFDC) Business Analyst acts as the bridge between business
stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that Salesforce solutions align with
business needs. The role involves gathering requirements, optimizing processes,
and supporting Salesforce implementations and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis
Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate

them into functional requirements
Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement sessions
•
Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
•
2. Salesforce Solution Design
Collaborate with Salesforce admins and developers to design scalable
•
solutions
Recommend standard Salesforce features vs. custom development
•
Ensure alignment with Salesforce best practices
•
3. Process Mapping & Optimization
Analyze current business processes and identify improvement
•
opportunities
Design future-state processes using Salesforce capabilities
•
Create process flow diagrams and documentation
•
4. Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact between business and technical
•
teams
Communicate project updates, risks, and dependencies
•
Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder alignment.
•
5. Testing & UAT Support
Develop test plans, test cases, and scenarios
•
Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
•

Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements
•
6. Data & Reporting
Analyze data flows and data quality within Salesforce
•
Define reporting and dashboard requirements
•
Support data migration and validation activities
•
7. Agile & Project Support
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
•
Maintain backlog and prioritize user stories
•
Work closely with Scrum Masters and Product Owners
•
Qualifications
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities
• Requirement gathering & documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories)
• Process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.)
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Evaluation Criteria
• 3–6+ years of experience supporting Epic Willow Inpatient in a healthcare
environment
