Sales Tax AnalystThe Sales Tax Analyst will be part of a team that is responsible for all the sales/use tax and property tax reporting for Bosch Building Technologies North America. This dynamic role reports to the Sales Tax Manager.Responsibilities:Accurate record keeping in all areas of responsibilityProvide reports as requested by management in a timely and acceptable format.Represent Company in a business-like professional manner in both conduct and appearance, to maximize client satisfaction.Effectively communicate and respond in a timely manner to all Client and Company needs or inquiries.Interface proactively and in a positive manner with co-workers in all departments to maximize customer satisfaction.Work in compliance with the Company's policies and procedures including safety manual, with safety of self and others in mind at all times.Maintain and protect assigned company assets.Available to work outside of, or in addition to, normal business hours to support other branches in other time zonesPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual tax filingsComplete monthly sales tax compliance as assignedReconcile accounts, ledgers, reports, etc. as directedActs as a point of contact for W-9 and tax exemption certificate requests.Review and analyze reports and data and monitor for accuracy and completenessResponds to internal and external customer inquiries on sales taxAssist in researching and analyzing relevant sales/use tax laws by state and regulations to ensure all customers and all locations are properly charged for sales/use taxes, including correct classification as taxable or exemptLoad new tax exemptions into dual systems and maintain exemption files for audit.Assist with sales & use tax auditsAssist other areas in accounting, including accounts receivable and invoicing supportDocument workflow and work proceduresRequired Qualifications:2-year degree (or 5+ years of related experience)Minimum 2 years sales tax experienceIntermediate excel spreadsheet skills requiredPreferred Qualifications:Prior general accounting experiencePrior experience in the construction industry and personal property tax compliance4-year degree in Accounting, Finance or Business AdministrationProficiency with Dynamics 365 and VertexPhysical Demands:Must be able to effectively communicate, (i.e.
see, hear, speak and write clearly in English) in order to communicate with colleagues and/or customersManual dexterity required for occasional reaching, lifting of light office objects, and operating office equipmentWorking Conditions:The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted and ventilated.
