LHH is partnered with one of our client's in the consumer products sector on a search for a full-time, Sales Marketing Analyst. If you are a sales analyst who combines strong analytical ability with retail/CPG/customer knowledge and business storytelling, is skilled at interpreting sales data, identifying trends and growth opportunities, and translating complex findings into clear recommendations for sales and leadership, this role may be for you!
Location: Hybrid - 3 days in office - Deerfield, IL Area
Compensation: $75K–$85K

Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1–3 years in sales analytics, sales/marketing analytics, sales planning, or customer analytics
- Exposure to retail, CPG, trade marketing, category management, or customer analytics
- Understanding of large retailer dynamics
- Strong Excel skills working with large datasets plus experience with Power BI or Tableau; SAP experience is a plus.
- Strong PowerPoint/executive presentation capabilities
- Ability to turn data into actionable insights for nontechnical stakeholders
What You Will Do:
- Analyze sales performance, KPIs, trends and opportunities
- Support promotions, pricing, product launches and sales initiatives
- Provide sales forecasting and planning insights
- Monitor competitors, consumer trends and industry developments
- Partner with sales, demand planning, marketing, supply chain and finance
- Support leadership with analysis for decision-making and strategic planning
- Help improve reporting methods, sales processes and overall efficiency
