Sales Manager – Liquid Bulk Transportation

Location: Remote, United States

Our client is a global logistics and supply chain provider delivering transportation, intermodal, warehousing, brokerage, and managed logistics solutions across North America and international markets.

We are seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to develop new business across the liquid bulk transportation market. This is a hunter-focused role responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting new shipper accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and win new liquid bulk shipper accounts across sectors including chemicals, food and beverage, agriculture, semiconductor, and related industries.
• Sell over-the-road liquid bulk transportation and domestic tank intermodal solutions.
• Build relationships with supply chain, procurement, and operations decision-makers.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and presentations through proposals, negotiations, and contract close.
• Partner with pricing and operations teams to develop tailored customer solutions.
• Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasts, and customer records in CRM.
• Monitor market trends and share customer insights internally.

Requirements

• Five or more years’ experience in new business development or outside sales within liquid bulk transportation, tank intermodal, chemicals, or a related sector.
• Proven success in prospecting, cold calling, and winning new business.
• Strong knowledge of liquid bulk transportation, tank equipment, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%.
