Publishing Sales Representative - Higher Education
Base pay range : $85,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Field-based consultative sales role, calling on professors at colleges/universities during the Spring and Fall semesters
- Work from your own home office during the Summer and Holiday breaks
- Territory = the Chicagoland area and the Southern WI area
- Mileage reimbursement, full expenses, and excellent benefits
- 20% overnight travel during the Spring & Fall semesters
- Promotion opportunities into management, marketing, or editorial are typically offered after about 3 years
Qualifications
- Completed a bachelor's degree and enjoys learning
- 1+ year of outside sales experience
- Good communication and rapport-building skills, intellectually curious
