Sales Executive - Commercial Auto

Location: Jacksonville, Florida; Orlando, Florida; Tampa, Florida. The position is remote but requires residency in the Central Florida area and frequent travel to Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville.

Responsibilities

• Influencing Agent Behavior: Implements and executes sales strategies to achieve financial and sales goals, collaborates with internal partners, and utilizes sales tools to influence behavior and drive results.
• Agency Diagnostics and Cross Selling: Identifies opportunities to cross‑sell Kemper Auto products and aligns agency needs with Kemper Auto offerings.
• Agency Management and Support: Manages and develops a territory of independent agents, provides consultative selling, builds strong relationships with agents at all levels, drives new business growth, maintains mix of business, retention, and profitability, and stays current on product and pricing trends.
• Collaboration and Mentoring: Participates in regional strategy meetings, leads execution of business goals, and assists with new production launches.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience, with at least 1 year in P&C insurance preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree; Business or Marketing preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Working knowledge of insurance operations: underwriting, claims, marketing, and product.
• Effective communication skills and public speaking ability.
• Flexible, self‑starter, and highly motivated.
• Intermediate to advanced ability to manipulate, segment and interpret report data through spreadsheets.
• Excellent time‑management, critical thinking, logical problem‑solving skills, and ability to interpret statistical data from company reports to build action plans.
• Valid driving record.

Compensation

Base salary range: $79,500 to $132,900. Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and Kemper benefits.
