Sales Engineer - AI-Driven Offensive Security
Location: Remote, United States
On behalf of our client, we’re seeking an exceptional Sales Engineer to join a fast-growing, venture-backed cybersecurity company using agentic AI to transform how enterprises test and strengthen their defences.
Rather than relying on point-in-time assessments, its platform continuously identifies and validates real, exploitable risk across the attack surface - giving security teams a clearer understanding of where they are genuinely exposed.
The company is Series A, backed by tier-one investors and already trusted by major enterprise customers. This is an opportunity to join its US go-to-market team at an early stage and help define how a highly differentiated technology is brought to market.
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll act as the technical voice throughout the sales process, working closely with Account Executives and channel partners to demonstrate how AI is reshaping offensive security.
You’ll lead technical discovery, deliver compelling demonstrations and run proof-of-concept engagements that connect the platform’s capabilities to each customer’s security priorities. Beyond supporting opportunities, you’ll help build the processes, documentation, demo environments and technical tooling needed to scale the go-to-market function.
Partner with Regional Account Executives to qualify opportunities and uncover technical requirements early in the sales cycle.
Deliver engaging demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to each customer’s environment and priorities.
Design and manage proof-of-concept engagements that clearly demonstrate technical and commercial value.
Develop solutions aligned with each customer’s security, business, technical and financial objectives.
Build trusted relationships with prospects, customers and channel partners.
Support joint technical selling with partners and help strengthen the wider channel ecosystem.
Create repeatable sales engineering processes, technical documentation and enablement materials.
Bring customer and market feedback into Product, Engineering and Leadership to help shape the platform and go-to-market strategy.
Strong exposure to application security or offensive security, including areas such as DAST, SAST, vulnerability management, red teaming or bug bounty programmes.
Experience supporting complex cybersecurity sales cycles with both technical and executive stakeholders.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills across customers, prospects and channel partners.
A builder mentality - you’re comfortable creating structure, improving processes and operating without an established playbook.
