The position can be based out of Futurex's Engineering Campus, 15 miles north of San Antonio, Texas, or Futurex's satellite office, just south of Austin, TX.The Sales Engineer role is a hybrid between business development, IT environment design, and pre-sales technical support. A Sales Engineer is as comfortable working with technology as they are with people.
Responsibilities include:Work closely with sales executives to develop and maintain customer relationshipsApply business knowledge and technical ability to create state-of-the-art solutions to help enterprises secure their sensitive dataAnalyze customer requirements and recommend enhancements to our cutting-edge, hardware-based cryptographic solutionsProvide pre-sales support and conduct technical proof of concepts to drive new businessConduct customer training on our products and data security best practicesProvide project management services for custom development initiatives and global Hardened Enterprise Security Platform implementationsUnderstand industry-specific APIs and protocols used when interfacing with external systems
