Sales Director

Director of Sales – North America | Industrial Manufacturing

TRG Manufacturing Search Division has been engaged to identify a Director of Sales – North America for a growing manufacturer and distributor of highly engineered industrial instrumentation and electromechanical products.

Backed by a financially strong European parent company, the North American business has doubled in size over the past several years and continues to invest in new markets and long-term growth.

This is a highly visible leadership role and an important part of the company's succession plan. You'll lead the North American sales organization, help shape commercial strategy, develop your team, and strengthen relationships with an established network of stocking distributors, manufacturers' representatives, and key OEM customers.

The organization offers the stability and resources of a successful global manufacturer with the entrepreneurial environment of a growing North American business.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related technical discipline; some additional business education is a plus.
• 7+ years of progressive technical sales experience within industrial manufacturing, including sales leadership experience.
• Proven success growing business through distributors, manufacturers' representatives, and OEM relationships.
• Experience with electromechanical products, instrumentation, sensors, controls, automation, test & measurement equipment, or similar engineered products.
• Strong business acumen with experience developing sales strategy, forecasting, and identifying growth opportunities.
• A demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop sales professionals.
