Senior Living Director

Position: Senior Living Director  Location: Kansas City, Missouri  Position Type: Full Time  Starting Salary: $59,000 to $75,400

Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop close relationships to support potential residents and families in tough conversations about next‑step solutions through empathy and understanding.
• Help leads and families problem‑solve by shedding light on potential opportunities as they select the senior living option that suits their particular needs.
• Drive knowledge and gross and net gains in community occupancy through awareness of move‑ins, move‑outs, and shifting vacancies, and assist Executive Directors in brainstorming ways to keep current residents from moving out.
• Ensure exceptional lead experiences during tours and visits to community events.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a 12th‑grade proficiency.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive and energetic attitude, love for residents.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions and apply practical problem‑solving skills if needed.
• Criminal background clearance.
• In good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks; health screening by physician within 6 months prior or 7 days after employment, must be free of pulmonary tuberculosis at time of screening.
