Role Description The Sales Associate role at Malak Jewelers is a full-time, on-site position located at Malak Jewelers in Charlotte, NC. This role involves greeting clients, asking the right to questions to understand their needs, building rapport, and guiding them through product product presentations. Daily responsibilities include handling sales transactions, assisting with special orders, following up on inquiries, ensuring merchandise is displayed and maintained to store standards, maintaining a welcoming and professional store environment. The role also requires supporting inventory management, collaboration with team members, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to create a positive in-store experience.
• Sales, upselling, and cross-selling skills with the ability to meet or exceed performance goals.
• Product knowledge or interest in diamonds, gemstones, fine jewelry, and timepieces, with willingness to learn technical details.
• Clear verbal communication skills and professional presentation in an upscale retail environment.
• Basic math, point-of-sale, and cash-handling skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining displays, inventory, store cleanliness, and accurate records.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work retail hours including evenings and weekends, and collaborate in a team setting.
• Previous retail or jewelry sales experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required, additional training in sales or luxury retail is a plus.
