It is to achieve sales goals of the company's Plastics and vision inspection products in the Midwest.
(Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Ontario, Canada)Main TasksRespond to requests for technical, price, delivery, and service informationProvide advice on the appropriate application of plastics vision inspection related productsDevelop and implement a sales strategy in conjunction with the Sales ManagerIdentifies and penetrates OEM and plastics processing companies and coordinate strategy with the Sales ManagerIdentifies unique market requirements and consults with the Sales Manager and Application Experts on special solutionsMaintain current knowledge of new and existing products and applicationsPrepares customer price quotationsAssists in preparing special project proposals as requiredCoordinates commitments with affected internal departmentsRequirements ProfileBachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited four (4) year college preferred plus 2-3 years of experience in plastics sales or process engineer;Associate degree (A.A.S.) in Engineering Technology or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or vocational-technical school plus 3 years of experience as plastics sales engineer or process technicianExperience in the application of pressure sensors, associated electronics, and software.Controls of plastics processing equipment to measure evaluate and control machine function to achieve process optimization.Requires engineering design knowledge, tool design is a plus.Good written and verbal communication skills, knowledge, and use of Microsoft office productsUp to 50% of travelWhy Kistler?At Kistler, we value your expertise and offer opportunities for professional growth in a global environment.
