We are looking for Sales Account Managers to help expand our footprint in the U.S. market. As Sales Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth across the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement : Proactively connect with prospective and existing customers to understand application-specific testing needs (e.g., load range, scale type, material behavior)
and present tailored technical solutions. - Product Demonstrations : Showcase our equipment — in-person or virtually, highlighting advanced capabilities.
- Consultative Selling : Analyze customer testing environments and compliance requirements, offering solutions aligned with relevant ASTM and ISO
- Lead Generation : Identify and pursue new opportunities through industry events, professional associations, and materials testing networks.
- Sales Strategy : Create and execute market-specific strategies for industries such as aerospace, automotive, defense, and metal manufacturing, focusing on critical QA/QC processes.
- Market Intelligence : Monitor evolving materials testing trends (e.g., microhardness, automation, hybrid analysis systems); user feedback to identify emerging opportunities and product positioning strategies.
- Deal Negotiation : Manage technical and commercial aspects of the sales process including RFP responses, compliance documentation, pricing structures, and procurement specifications.
- Installation, Training & Support : Conduct on-site equipment installations, and end-user training sessions on machine operation, software, and data interpretation.
Support customers’ post-sale in ensuring compliance and optimal use of equipment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education : Degree in engineering, materials science, metallurgy, or a related technical field preferred.
- Technical Knowledge : Solid understanding of hardness testing principles, test scale applications (e.g., HRC, HV, HBW)
and familiarity with related lab equipment (e.g., sample prep, metallographic tools, force measurement systems). - Experience : Minimum 5 years in technical sales or service, ideally in materials testing, metrology, or industrial equipment.
Background in sectors like heat treating, automotive, or precision manufacturing is a strong plus. - Communication : Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to explain and demonstrate complex technical concepts clearly to engineers, technicians, and procurement teams.
- Travel : Must be willing to travel frequently across the United States. Valid driver’s license and passport required. Ideally based near a major airport hub.
