Safety Technician

We're looking for a detail-focused safety professional in Nashville, TN who can help maintain a safe, compliant work environment and support a strong safety culture across the facility. This role plays a key part in identifying risks, guiding safe practices, and ensuring the organization meets all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine safety walkthroughs and audits to spot potential hazards.
• Create, update, and enforce safety procedures aligned with regulatory standards.
• Train employees on safe work habits and emergency response steps.
• Review incidents and near-misses, document findings, and recommend improvements.
• Keep accurate records of safety activities, inspections, and reports.
• Work with leadership to strengthen safety awareness and continuous improvement.
• Stay informed on evolving safety regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in safety, environmental studies, or a related field; bachelor's preferred.
• At least two years of experience in a safety-focused role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of OSHA requirements and general safety regulations.
• Solid communication skills and the ability to work well with teams.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and safety-related software tools.
• Professional safety certifications (CSP, OHST, etc.) are beneficial.
