A leading construction company is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee jobsite safety on large-scale commercial and industrial projects in the Phoenix market.
What You'll Do:
* Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety programs across large, complex construction projects
* Conduct regular jobsite inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
* Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning
* Train field crews and subcontractors on OSHA compliance, company safety policy, and best practices
* Partner with project superintendents and PMs to integrate safety into project planning and scheduling
* Maintain safety documentation, certifications, and regulatory reporting (OSHA 300 logs, etc.)
* Drive a proactive safety culture across all levels of the project team
What We're Looking For:
* 5+ years of safety management experience in commercial/industrial construction, with a track record on large-scale projects
* Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations (OSHA 30 required, CHST/CSP a plus)
* Experience managing safety across multiple trades and subcontractors
* Excellent communication and leadership skills — able to hold the line on safety while staying a trusted partner to field teams
* Bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction Management, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
Compensation: $115,000-$140,000 (based on experience) Location: Phoenix, AZ
