Safety Manager
Field-Based | Project Safety Leadership | Safety Manager
Lead in the field. Make safety personal.
Your strongest safety tool isn’t a checklist—it’s your ability to connect with people and act before risks become incidents. As the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager, you’ll bring hands-on leadership to assigned projects, partnering with Project Management, field supervisors, and craft personnel to keep work safe, efficient, and aligned with applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety requirements.
Be where the work happens. Put the project’s safety program into practice through field inspections, audits, hazard identification and mitigation, employee coaching, safety training, and support for incident and near-miss investigations.
Build trust. Speak up. Shape safer habits. Bring a proactive approach, clear communication, and the confidence to intervene when conditions or behaviors put people at risk. You’ll work directly with field personnel and project leaders, using relationships, coaching, and sound judgment to make safety part of how the team works.
If you’re a safety professional who would rather be alongside the crew than behind a desk, this is your kind of role. Expect regular, hands-on engagement with employees, subcontractors, supervisors, and management.
