Safety Manager
Our client is seeking 2 Safety Manager's in both KY & VA to lead safety strategy, compliance, and culture across a high‑volume, USDA‑regulated food manufacturing environment. This role drives proactive risk reduction, regulatory excellence, and continuous improvement to protect every associate.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Safety Culture across plant operations through coaching, accountability, and visible engagement.
- Ensure OSHA/USDA Compliance with audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Manage Risk Programs including hazard assessments, ergonomics, incident investigations, and JSA.
- Deliver Training for LOTO, PPE, RTE, emergency response, and frontline/leadership development.
- Drive Continuous Improvement to strengthen safety KPIs and reduce operational risk.
- Own Safety Metrics with data analysis, reporting, and trend‑based action plans.
Qualifications:
- 4–7+ years of safety leadership in food manufacturing or USDA‑regulated operations.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, HACCP, GMP, RTE.
- Proven ability to influence at all levels and lead safety in fast‑paced production environments.
- CSP/ASP/CHMM preferred.
