Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs to ensure all employees are aware of workplace safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assess various job tasks to identify potential hazards and develop Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to outline safe work practices.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential hazards in the workplace. Develop strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Assist with various safety-related tasks as needed, including maintaining safety records, participating in safety audits, and supporting the overall safety culture of the organization.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of safety experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Good experience in taking steps to prevent injuries from becoming recordables.
  • Metal experience a must
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Candidate who has played a key role in establishing and executing a Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) Program
