American Landscape is seeking a dedicated Safety Compliance Lead to join our team. Qualified personnel will oversee and enforce safety policies, ensure regulatory compliance, conduct audits, and foster a culture of workplace safety across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of worksites and facilities.
- Ensure certified, departmenttraining is being maintained company-wide
- Lead safety training sessions and ensure all employees are informed of safety protocols.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training activities.
- Work with HR and facilities teams to integrate safety into all business processes.
- Collaborate with management and staff to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes related to workplace safety.
- Work with trusted safety organizations
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience of 3 or moreyears in safety compliance, workplace safety, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough inspections and detailed incident investigations.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Commitment to promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
- CSP a plus.
