The Product Management Director is a senior-level role for technology platform. This hands-on role will partner with senior-level development managers and architects to develop and execute the technology product roadmap.Responsibilities:Lead client requirements gathering and market researchCoordinate client advisory meetings and development partnershipsCollaborate with other product managers and development leadership as well as the executive team to prioritize product initiativesDevelop the technology product roadmap which supports the business strategyCommunicate the technology product roadmap to internal and external stakeholdersManage product management staff for the technology infrastructure teamsAs the Product Owner, drive the Agile process and create a culture of continuous improvement of processes and methodologiesManage key initiatives to ensure achievement of critical milestones and resultsProvide expert guidance and critical analysis of proposed changes during design reviews and product demos with an eye towards simplicity of design and functionKeep abreast of existing and emerging technologies impactful to our businessProvide occasional sales support for prospective clientsAct as an escalation point for client servicesSpeak at public events and author industry articles as appropriateRequirements:BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Math; Masters preferred10+ years of related experienceTechnical product management experience preferredA bias toward architecture evolution that continually adds business valueExperience building and delivering software solutions with world-class security and reliabilityKnowledge of the investment industry (technology, financial instruments, workflows, etc.) preferredStrong analytical skills, with ability to collect, absorb, and analyze information quickly and independentlyAbility to develop recommendations, form judgments and make decisions based on existing available dataExecutive communication (verbal and written) skills and an ability to communicate complex technical information in simpler termsStrong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels of the organizationHighly motivated, with the ability to take initiative, set priorities and perform tasks with minimal guidanceProven ability to develop and manage cross functional processes and project timelinesExcellent follow-through, attention to detail and time management skills
