Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgeon needed for Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton, part of RWJBarnabas Health. The role offers high-volume, collaborative environment with established referral base and institutional support.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand conditions including degenerative disease, traumatic injuries, sports-related pathology, and complex reconstructive procedures.
• Perform diagnosis, surgical and non-surgical management, perioperative care, and ongoing follow‑up.
• Participate in clinical research and educational activities.
• Collaborate multidisciplinary with physical therapy, occupational therapy, pain management, and rehabilitation specialists.

Candidate Requirements

• BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Upper Extremity, Hand & Wrist, Shoulder & Elbow, or related subspecialty preferred
• New Jersey licensed or eligible for licensure
• Strong clinical and surgical skills in upper extremity conditions
• Interest in clinical research and academic collaboration is a plus

Compensation

Anticipated salary range: $400,000 to $800,000 per year. Final compensation depends on education, skills, and experience.
