Respiratory Therapist – RRTLocation: Asheville, NCAssignment: Travel | 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)Shift & Schedule:Day Shift | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM12-hour shiftsRotating weekends (minimum 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)Summary: Seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and NICU populations in a high-acuity hospital setting.Responsibilities:Provide respiratory care including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway supportWork with advanced equipment such as GE R860 ventilators, Draeger infant/peds vents, V60 NIV, and high-flow oxygen devicesRespond to critical care needs across multiple unitsDocument patient care using Cerner EMRCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomesRequirements:Active North Carolina Respiratory LicenseRRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)BLS, ACLS, and PALS certificationsPreferred:NRP certificationExperience across adult, pediatric, and NICU settingsAdditional Details:Floating required across all critical care units and floorsPatient ratios: 10–25Scrubs: Medium Gray / Pewter
